Try movies ― 2012/02/23 00:09
Ever use movies to teach any of your lessons? I do. They’re a great way for students to learn natural phrases and improve listening. I’ve used movies like “The Firm”, “Catch Me If You Can” and “Mrs. Doubtfire”. I also made a 16 week course for business people using the movie “Working Girl”. People can get a lot of business vocabulary from that movie. With some movies I have students buy the scripts. They’re in book format called “スクリーンプレー you know Screen Play. These books have the entire scripts of the movie along with translations and meanings of every natural expression. You can buy them used from Amazon and they’re in excellent condition for sometimes less than \1,000. So if you never you ought to give movies a go in your lessons.
